Albert Hall

The Albert Hall is a monumental arts venue dedicated to Queen Victoria’s husband Prince Albert. The name of the hall was originally to be 'The Central Hall of Arts and Sciences' however, after the death of Prince Albert, and at Queen Victoria’s request, the name was changed to the Albert Hall. Its iconic oval design has made it one of London’s most recognised landmarks. A Grecian mosaic frieze depicting the ‘Triumph of Arts and Science’ encircles the exterior of the building and praises the achievements of the Great Exhibition of 1851. Since its opening by Queen Victoria in 1871, the Albert Hall has hosted some of the world’s leading artists and performers.

Earls Court

The original Earls Court Exhibition Hall was completed in 1937 to rival the already established Olympia Exhibition Hall to the North. The Chocolate and Confectionary Exhibition of 1937 was the first exhibition to be held in the hall and since then, Earls Court has become established as one of London’s premier exhibition and conference spaces.

In response to a greater need for exhibition space in the capital, Earls Court 2 was constructed and opened in 1991. The new centre can accommodate the equivalent of four jumbo jets and is often used for motor shows and the yacht show.
