The hotel is located in South Kensington, close to Knightsbridge, Earls Court and Olympia Exhibition centers, the Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The hotel is also close to The Royal Albert Hall, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, and both Kensington and Buckingham Palace.

The Radisson Vanderbilt Hotel, once the London residence of the Vanderbilt family, boasts one of the best locations in upmarket South Kensington. Many original features have been carefully restored to their former glory including stained glass windows, wood panelled rooms and its magnificent artistic ceiling. Roaring fires, sumptuous furnishings, and original artwork have been added to create a luxurious homely feel. The 215 guestrooms have a warm ambience, with mahogany furniture, rich fabrics and crisp cotton bed linen. With the movie facility one might expect a larger screen to watch them on! Don't be put off my the main road as the sound proofing was very good.

Our room was on the top floor and still very noisy (next to A5). There was refurbishing going on and our room was not done, but it was clean & tidy, although air con was very noisy.
